What a hit to read “The Loire finds its gloire” from her “majesty” Jancis Robinson MW in the Financial Times:

“Arguably, the Loire wine region that has seen the greatest transformation is Muscadet, the best-value white-wine region in the world if you know where to look. […] Francois Lieubeau of Famille Lieubeau showed two beautiful 2023s from the communes of Clisson and Goulaine, respectively just 12 and 12,5% alcohol but intense and deep-flavoured with obvious potential for ageing and a recommended retail price of less than 20£”

Together with the recent Loire review on JancisRobinson.com, our wines get the best scores in Muscadet and among top in the Loire.

Lastly, we’re happy to read Jancis notes after tasting La Minée – first written record of Muscadet dated 1616 – last January: “Special wine, dense and powerful. Real intensity and power here! (JR – 17/20 – Drink 2026-2033)”

Thanks Jancis Robinson and Tamlyn Currin for bringing the light on the Loire and Muscadet
