What emotions to read of this glowing memory shared by the famous sommelier Estelle Touzet in Le Figaro in March 2023, a great recognition for our Cru Château-Thébaud 2002!

‘The first bottle that moved me to tears was a bottle of Pur Sang 2001, bought with my student savings. It was corked, I cried a lot… More recently, it was a Muscadet-Sèvre-et-Maine from Domaine Lieubeau Château-Thébaud 2002. A wine whose reputation is second to none – aromas of dried fruits, oleaginous, slightly truffled, with a precious menthol note in the background. A trailing and committed wine in its creamy texture, revealing a vibrant saline finish, which still resonates in my palate and in my heart. This sip of muscadet, tasted in a professional event, was one of my first reconnections with wine, after a year of scarcity – motherhood and wine don’t go so well together, it seems… I was electrified by the aromatic universe of this muscadet, by its dashing and joyful character. As if bewitched by its energy and sapidity. The (re)birth of my senses was very effective, and I had the chance to experience it in the presence of a divine wine. What immense joy!’
