“The Cru Clisson from Famille Lieubeau comes from « Clos de la Placelière », a vineyard walled in 1747. Muscadet is one of those white wines were I tend to speak about this very famous but mystic word of minerality. It’s about texture, and in this case about a wonderful kind of saline freshness which makes this wine beautifully balanced and very long. There is no oak here but the wine is supported by the wealth and generosity of the 2 years ageing on the lees. This is a generous and rich Muscadet which gives way to wonderful complexity of wine and food matching.” – Raimonds Tomsons
